Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 0.61% or 180.0 points to trade at 29740.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.51% or 50.0 points to end at 9780.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 33500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 2.45% or 13.0 points to trade at 518.0 in late trade. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) declined 2.35% or 980.0 points to end at 40760.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 2.27% or 0.6 points to 25.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 5 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.37% or 3.12 to $134.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.19% or 23.00 to hit $1957.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.13 to trade at $1335.83 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.49% to 2908.53, while BRL/COP fell 1.28% to 930.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 91.90.
