Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.55% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 3.42% or 55.0 points to trade at 1665.0 at the close. Conconcret (CN:CIC) added 1.21% or 12.0 points to end at 1005.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.10% or 30.0 points to 2760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 3.34% or 1000.0 points to trade at 28900.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.77% or 800.0 points to end at 28060.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 2.48% or 280.0 points to 11000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 23 to 10 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.62% or 0.78 to $125.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.02% or 0.50 to hit $2117.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.47 to trade at $1277.27 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.42% to 3023.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.19% to 919.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 94.36.
