Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.22% or 220.0 points to trade at 10140.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 0.81% or 80.0 points to end at 9900.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.53% or 60.0 points to 11460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 3.05% or 560.0 points to trade at 17780.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 2.19% or 420.0 points to end at 18720.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.82% or 200.0 points to 10800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.55% or 2.37 to $155.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.70% or 19.00 to hit $2717.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.38% or 4.75 to trade at $1252.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 2921.72, while BRL/COP fell 0.71% to 912.01.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 98.09.
