Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.34% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which fell 6.67% or 20.0 points to trade at 280.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 2.80% or 30.0 points to end at 1100.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 2.27% or 200.0 points to 9000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 3.82% or 80.0 points to trade at 2015.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 7.45% or 19.0 points to end at 236.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 1.73% or 65.0 points to 3690.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 4.47% or 5.35 to $114.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.87% or 64.50 to hit $2186.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1230.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.24% to 3188.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.40% to 861.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.38.
