Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Services, Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 2.82% or 300.0 points to trade at 10920.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.37% or 220.0 points to end at 16260.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.10% or 200.0 points to 18320.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.93% or 35.0 points to trade at 1775.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.86% or 50.0 points to end at 2645.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.68% or 480.0 points to 28040.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.28% or 0.36 to $127.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.75% or 38.50 to hit $2164.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.74 to trade at $1281.64 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.32% to 3017.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.70% to 910.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 93.75.
