Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.43% or 140.0 points to trade at 9940.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 0.52% or 100.0 points to end at 19280.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.42% or 140.0 points to 33200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.51% or 8.0 points to trade at 521.0 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 1.01% or 140.0 points to end at 13680.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.87% or 300.0 points to 34220.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.86% or 5.42 to $134.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.48% or 9.50 to hit $1959.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 4.12 to trade at $1314.92 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.24% to 2901.82, while BRL/COP fell 0.17% to 925.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 91.59.
