Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.10% or 120.0 points to trade at 11000.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 0.64% or 160.0 points to end at 25300.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.55% or 100.0 points to 18340.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 1.89% or 1180.0 points to trade at 61220.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.65% or 0.3 points to end at 17.9 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.41% or 540.0 points to 37640.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 8 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.24% or 0.37 to $152.75 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.64% or 43.50 to hit $2698.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.40% or 5.05 to trade at $1258.85 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.45% to 2917.01, while BRL/COP rose 1.04% to 916.23.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.44% at 97.56.
