Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 0.96% or 180.0 points to trade at 18900.0 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) added 0.87% or 120.0 points to end at 13840.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) was up 0.76% or 10.0 points to 1330.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 1.35% or 440.0 points to trade at 32260.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.31% or 440.0 points to end at 33260.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.05% or 30.0 points to 2840.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.88% or 2.39 to $129.77 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.34% or 7.00 to hit $2079.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 4.93 to trade at $1278.13 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.38% to 2937.83, while BRL/COP rose 0.28% to 930.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.64.
