Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.16% or 0.3 points to trade at 26.1 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.69% or 80.0 points to end at 11640.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.45% or 60.0 points to 13460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 1.92% or 20.0 points to trade at 1020.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.35% or 7.0 points to end at 510.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.91% or 320.0 points to 34980.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.10% or 2.83 to $137.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.53% or 30.00 to hit $1987.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.89 to trade at $1326.81 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.11% to 2912.42, while BRL/COP fell 0.24% to 928.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 92.42.
