Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 0.55% or 180.0 points to trade at 33100.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.49% or 10.0 points to end at 2065.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was up 0.17% or 60.0 points to 36060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 4.76% or 17.0 points to trade at 340.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 3.38% or 270.0 points to end at 7730.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 1.63% or 7.0 points to 423.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 4 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.27% or 1.31 to $101.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.23% or 51.00 to hit $2333.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1205.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.38% to 3070.65, while BRL/COP rose 3.46% to 755.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 95.06.
