Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 1.37% or 8.0 points to trade at 591.0 at the close. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) added 1.35% or 500.0 points to end at 37600.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.19% or 15.0 points to 1280.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 1.69% or 180.0 points to trade at 10500.0 in late trade. Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 1.31% or 500.0 points to end at 37660.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 1.22% or 15.0 points to 1210.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 13 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.20% or 0.30 to $147.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.37% or 38.00 to hit $2809.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 3.09% or 40.55 to trade at $1272.15 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.63% to 2979.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.19% to 915.07.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.46% at 96.09.
