QINGDAO, China Sept 23 (Reuters) - China's steel demand has already peaked, Zhu Jimin, executive vice chairman of the China Iron and Steel Association said on Wednesday.
"The steel consumption in China has already entered the peak zone and the steel consumption will not grow at a high rate any more," Zhu told an industry conference.
China's steel demand dropped 3.3 percent last year, shrinking for the first time since 1981, and continued to fall this year.
