Chase Mining Corporation Ltd (ASX:CML)’s 30.4%-owned Red Fox Resources Pty Ltd has set the drills turning at the Eveleigh Zinc Project in the Georgetown district of northeast Queensland to test potential BHT lead-zinc-silver style mineralisation.
The diamond drill program is supported by a Round 6 Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) grant from the Queensland Government.

The Eveleigh Project contains a lens of zinc mineralisation that was drilled primarily in the 1970s, with historical intersections including 24.4 metres at 2.5%.
Red Fox interprets the mineralisation as being of BHT/Cannington style based on host lithologies, metal association and metal zoning, which significantly increases the prospectivity of the Eveleigh Project as multiple undiscovered sulphide lodes may yet be discovered.

Previous surface geochemistry and historical silver workings indicate that there is potential for multiple stacked lodes, with strong zonation in the lead-zinc-silver ratios.
Drilling is expected to be completed by the end of this month.
