* Preliminary traffic and capacity statistics - March 2016 QAN.AX
* Says March Qantas Group capacity (available seat kilometres) increased by 7.0
per cent
* Group demand (revenue passenger kilometres) increased by 5.5 per cent in
March
* March group revenue seat factor of 78.0 per cent which was 1.1 percentage
points lower than in the prior corresponding period
* Qantas Group domestic capacity growth in the final quarter will now be
negative
* Previous guidance for group domestic capacity growth of around 2 percent in
second half of financial year now revised to growth of between 0.5 percent
and 1 percent
* Total Qantas Group capacity is expected to increase by 5 to 6 per cent in the
second half of the financial year
* For March Qantas International capacity rose by 8.2 percent, reflecting new
services added to San Francisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Singapore
