Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.72% or 35.0 points to trade at 2075.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.71% or 0.3 points to end at 17.8 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 1.25% or 220.0 points to 17760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 2.41% or 320.0 points to trade at 12960.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.92% or 500.0 points to end at 25580.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.83% or 200.0 points to 10700.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 15 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.45% or 0.55 to $121.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.70% or 50.00 to hit $2992.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.80% or 9.80 to trade at $1210.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.56% to 3069.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.26% to 849.88.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.63% at 95.74.
