April 11 (Reuters) - Whitehaven Coal Ltd WHC.AX said on Thursday its saleable coal production fell 3 percent in the March quarter and lowered its production guidance for fiscal 2019, hurt by lower yields from its Maules Creek Mine in New South Wales.
The miner revised its 2019 saleable coal production guidance to 20.5 million tonnes to 21.0 million tonnes from an earlier estimate of 21.5 million tonnes to 22.5 million tonnes.
Managed saleable coal production fell 3 percent to 5.06 million tonnes in the three months to March 31.
