SYDNEY, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Australian internet company Vocus Group Ltd VOC.AX said on Thursday it had missed its target net profit for the 2017 financial year and would take a A$1.53 billion ($1.21 billion) impairment charge.
The disclosure, which comes ahead of the company's full-year results next week, was released to the market amid a takeover battle for the company. profit came at A$152.3 million, below its A$160-to-$165 million guidance, the company said.
