July 22 (Reuters) - Rare earths producer Lynas Corp Ltd LYC.AX said on Wednesday that output nearly halved in the fourth quarter, hurt by temporary coronavirus-linked disruptions at its Malaysian processing plant and flagship mine in Australia.
Production of neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr), used in everything from iPhones to a range of weapons, fell to 775 tonnes from 1,505 tonnes a year earlier, missing a UBS estimate of 900 tonnes.
