SYDNEY, April 20 (Reuters) - Australian shares are set to open higher on Wednesday, drawing support from rallying Wall Street indexes and stronger commodity prices.
The local share price index futures YAPcm1 rose 0.6 percent, a 24.8-point premium to the underlying S&P/ASX 200 index .AXJO close. The benchmark rose 1 percent on Tuesday.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index .NZ50 fell 0.1 percent in early trade.
