April 6 (Reuters) - Australian shares are likely to open higher on Tuesday after a four-day holiday, tracking positive cues from Wall Street overnight, although weak commodity prices are set to cap gains.
The local share price index futures YAPcm1 rose 0.3%. It had ended up 0.6% on its last close.
New Zealand's benchmark S&P/NZX 50 index .NZ50 fell 0.2% by 2234 GMT.
