Nov 29 (Reuters) - Australia's competition regulator on Thursday raised concerns about waste management and recycling company Bingo Industries' BIN.AX A$577.5 million ($421.69 million) acquisition of rival Dial A Dump.
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission in a statement cited competition concerns over the acquisition, in particular its effect on processing, landfill and collections of building and demolition waste.
Bingo announced the purchase of its smaller rival in August this year in a move aimed at taking advantage of a Chinese ban on waste imports. ($1 = 1.3695 Australian dollars)
