AuKing Mining Ltd (ASX:AKN) has made a number of changes to its board and senior management following the resignation of Asimwe Kabunga as chairman and director with the changes effective immediately.
Kabunga elected to step down from the board in order to focus efforts on his other substantial commercial interests and executive commitments.
The resignation has resulted in the company making a number of changes to the board with existing director Peter Tighe being appointed non-executive chairman and existing CEO Paul Williams appointed managing director.
AuKing’s board has thanked Kabunga for his contribution and wishes him every success in the future.
Kabunga retains a large shareholding in AuKing Mining and intends to continue to support the company wherever possible in order to create shareholder value.
