Investing.com - The S&P/ASX 200 added 32.8 points or 0.5% to 6,998.3 during Tuesday’s trade, partially retracing losses of 2% in the previous session amid broad based gains led by the Tech and Energy sectors.
Among stocks, Information Technology rebounded 1.8% as Block Inc (ASX:SQ2) added 1%, Megaport Ltd (ASX:MP1) lifted 0.4%, Link Administration Holdings Ltd (ASX:LNK) added 0.7%, Novonix Ltd (ASX:NVX) popped 5% and Brainchip Holdings Ltd (ASX:BRN) lifted 4%.
Energy gained 1.4% overall amid higher crude oil prices. Santos Ltd (ASX:STO) lifted 1.5%, Beach Energy Ltd (ASX:BPT) finished flat at 1.75, South32 Ltd (ASX:S32) lifted 1.5% and Viva Energy Group Ltd (ASX:VEA) added 1.7%. Woodside Energy Ltd (ASX:WDS) also gained 1.5% after reporting a five-fold increase in first-half profits.
Meantime, Bubs Australia Ltd (ASX:BUB) dropped 5% despite doubling its gross revenues in FY22.
On the bond markets, Australia 10-Year rates were at 3.624% while United States 10-Year yields were at 3.093%.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 added 1.2% to 11,648.7.
