WELLINGTON, June 22 (Reuters) - New Zealand's central bank kept its benchmark interest rate at record lows of 1.75 percent on Thursday, and reiterated that it would keep them unchanged for a considerable period.
"Numerous uncertainties remain and policy may need to adjust accordingly," Reserve Bank of New Zealand Governor Graeme Wheeler said in a statement accompanying the rate decision.
Wheeler said a lower New Zealand dollar, which has risen by around 3 percent since May, would help rebalance the growth outlook.
