Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Materials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which rose 4.43% or 9.7 points to trade at 228.5 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 3.16% or 6.0 points to end at 196.0 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was up 0.95% or 0.45 points to 47.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 7.08% or 0.29 points to trade at 3.81 in late trade. Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) declined 4.58% or 2.90 points to end at 60.45 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 4.36% or 0.73 points to 16.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 91 to 87 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.46% or 0.22 to hit $48.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.44 to trade at $1265.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.53% to 9.4472, while USD/NOK fell 0.45% to 8.4381.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.06.
