New Zealand dollar on the ropes after RBNZ flags further easing

SYDNEY, Sept 10 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar NZD=D4 skidded a full U.S. cent on Thursday after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand cut the cash rate to 2.75 percent and left the door open for more easing. ID:nW9N0Z202A

The kiwi dropped to $0.6304 NZD=D4 , from $0.6400 before the central bank move, erasing all the gains made overnight and some.

The kiwi is down around 19 percent against the greenback so far this year, having fallen below 62 cents last month for the first time in six years.
