Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Biomed and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 2.66% or 44 points to trade at 1696 at the close. Discount (TA:DSCT) added 2.43% or 20.0 points to end at 842.0 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 2.39% or 150 points to 6430 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which lost 3.86% or 64 points to trade at 1595 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 3.36% or 73 points to end at 2099 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 2.77% or 1990 points to 69810.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 203 to 188 and 53 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.54% or 0.26 to $48.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.27% or 0.14 to hit $51.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.15 to trade at $1204.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.48% to 3.6563, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.9008.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 101.13.
