Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.02% or 250.0 points to trade at 8520.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 2.07% or 220.0 points to end at 10860.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.38% or 180.0 points to 13220.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 4.14% or 65.0 points to trade at 1505.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.83% or 360.0 points to end at 19340.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) shed 0.69% or 80.0 points to 11500.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.90% or 1.12 to $125.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.89% or 56.50 to hit $3043.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1233.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.37% to 2987.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.83% to 828.89.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 94.47.
