Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.48% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 10.53% or 1820 points to trade at 19100 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TA:MLSR) added 0.98% or 120 points to end at 12400 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.84% or 38 points to 4570 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which fell 6.50% or 5070 points to trade at 72930 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 6.02% or 73 points to end at 1140 and Avner L (TA:AVNRp) was down 5.65% or 13.0 points to 217.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 177 to 175 and 99 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.81% or 0.29 to $35.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.06% or 0.41 to hit $37.91 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.67% or 7.20 to trade at $1068.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.06% to 3.8567, while EUR/ILS rose 0.39% to 4.2528.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 97.49.
