Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.65% or 46 points to trade at 1307 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 3.06% or 2880 points to end at 97140 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 2.91% or 460 points to 16250 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.90% or 218 points to trade at 4233 at the close. Teva (TA:TEVA) declined 3.37% or 870 points to end at 24950 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was down 1.75% or 240 points to 13470.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 176 to 139 and 135 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.28% or 1.06 to $45.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.76% or 1.40 to hit $49.28 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.32% or 3.60 to trade at $1120.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.13% to 3.9207, while EUR/ILS rose 0.11% to 4.3718.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 96.26.
