Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.83% or 1.33 points to trade at 48.40 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 2.41% or 0.88 points to end at 37.40 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was up 1.46% or 2.60 points to 181.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 1.15% or 2.7 points to trade at 231.3 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 0.71% or 0.9 points to end at 126.2 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 0.54% or 5.0 points to 927.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 382 to 300 and 69 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.25% or 0.12 to $48.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.14% or 0.07 to hit $51.74 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.31% or 27.75 to trade at $1228.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.36% to 9.4814, while USD/SEK fell 0.38% to 8.8323.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 100.20.
