Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which rose 1.08% or 1.20 points to trade at 112.30 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.42% or 1.00 points to end at 239.50 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.36% or 0.11 points to 30.63 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 2.27% or 3.25 points to trade at 139.85 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.12% or 5.8 points to end at 267.5 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 1.98% or 4.2 points to 207.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 537 to 181 and 72 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.86% or 0.42 to $49.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.79% or 0.41 to hit $52.62 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 2.04 to trade at $1256.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 9.7705, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 8.7757.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.43.
