Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Investment, Agriculture and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which rose 4.97% or 860.0 points to trade at 18180.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 2.89% or 480.0 points to end at 17100.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 2.67% or 100.0 points to 3840.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 3.07% or 190.0 points to trade at 6000.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.62% or 660.0 points to end at 24500.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was down 2.04% or 540.0 points to 25880.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 15.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.36% or 0.42 to $119.22 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.26% or 39.50 to hit $3165.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.16% or 1.80 to trade at $1122.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 2.13% to 3108.90, while BRL/COP fell 4.61% to 810.16.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 96.27.
