Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.02% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.79% or 52.0 points to trade at 1423.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.04% or 19.5 points to end at 661.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.37% or 4.7 points to 349.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which added 0.03% or 0.01 points to trade at 37.87 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.10% or 0.2 points to end at 202.2 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) gained 0.25% or 0.30 points to 121.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.22 to $46.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.50% or 0.24 to hit $48.53 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.36 to trade at $1266.54 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 6.6401, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4368.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 97.03.
