Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Cement and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004), which rose 6.38% or 4.50 points to trade at 75.00 at the close. United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) added 4.46% or 1.60 points to end at 37.50 and Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) was up 4.13% or 2.50 points to 63.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 9.94% or 1.70 points to trade at 15.40 in late trade. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 9.94% or 0.85 points to end at 7.70 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) shed 9.84% or 0.95 points to 8.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 52 and 13 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.49% or 0.57 to $38.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.42% or 0.57 to hit $40.62 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.74% or 9.10 to trade at $1237.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.49% to 4.2720, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 94.51.
