Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Telecoms & IT and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 10.38% or 1.35 points to trade at 14.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) added 2.66% or 0.80 points to end at 30.90 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 2.54% or 0.90 points to 36.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 10.29% or 1.75 points to trade at 15.25 at the close. Etihad Etisalat Co (SE:7020) declined 10.10% or 3.10 points to end at 27.60 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) was down 9.21% or 3.50 points to 34.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 129 to 37.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.08% or 0.49 to $45.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.89% or 0.42 to hit $48.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.70 to trade at $1165.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.34% to 4.1965, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.88% at 95.92.
