Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.36% or 2.60 points to trade at 194.20 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 0.66% or 1.00 points to end at 153.50 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.53% or 0.14 points to 26.32 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 4.09% or 4.40 points to trade at 103.10 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.09% or 7.1 points to end at 222.8 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 2.10% or 1.55 points to 72.25.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 377 to 214 and 60 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.49% or 0.68 to $46.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.39% or 0.67 to hit $49.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 4.15 to trade at $1351.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.29% to 9.4857, while USD/SEK fell 0.51% to 8.4124.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.84% at 94.78.
