Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 7.30% or 60.0 points to trade at 881.5 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.32% or 4.7 points to end at 207.2 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.89% or 1.30 points to 70.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 0.41% or 1.10 points to trade at 268.00 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 0.37% or 0.5 points to end at 133.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 0.35% or 0.9 points to 254.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 47 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.14% or 0.07 to $50.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.58% or 7.35 to trade at $1263.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7691, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 97.79.
