Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.79%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 0.88% or 8.0 points to trade at 917.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.21% or 0.4 points to end at 190.8 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.03% or 0.1 points to 322.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 3.67% or 16.1 points to trade at 423.1 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 3.12% or 21.0 points to end at 652.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was down 2.75% or 0.99 points to 35.07.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 106 to 56 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Genmab (CO:GEN) rose to all time highs; rising 0.88% or 8.0 to 917.5.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.45% or 0.98 to $40.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 3.14% or 1.33 to hit $43.83 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.47% or 5.00 to trade at $1058.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 2.86% to 6.8272, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4600.
The US Dollar Index was down 2.02% at 98.02.
