Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture, Property and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Victoria Investama Tbk (JK:VICO), which rose 27.37% or 26 points to trade at 121 at the close. Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) added 22.70% or 74 points to end at 400 and Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) was up 13.92% or 11 points to 90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Verena Multi Finance Tbk (JK:VRNA), which lost 10.00% or 16 points to trade at 144 in late trade. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 9.88% or 34 points to end at 310 and Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (JK:DSNG) shed 9.76% or 48 points to 444.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 200 to 102 and 95 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.46% or 0.68 to $45.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.37% or 0.66 to hit $47.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.73% or 9.45 to trade at $1297.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13057.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.27% to 9927.10.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 97.55.
