Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 4.04% or 12.1 points to trade at 311.6 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 3.99% or 9.4 points to end at 245.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 3.62% or 4.3 points to 123.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 0.34% or 0.9 points to trade at 265.7 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.75% or 1.80 points to end at 243.10 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.04% or 9.5 points to 919.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 46 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 4.01% or 1.45 to $37.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.95% or 1.06 to hit $37.17 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.48% or 5.20 to trade at $1068.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 6.8626, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4626.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.43% at 98.63.
