Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Services and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.87% or 16.0 points to trade at 873.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.76% or 16.0 points to end at 923.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.25% or 3.7 points to 299.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 1.57% or 135 points to trade at 8455 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.32% or 110 points to end at 8250 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) shed 0.94% or 1.2 points to 125.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 3.73% or 1.43 to $36.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 3.99% or 1.61 to hit $38.72 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.52% or 18.80 to trade at $1216.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.5350, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4485.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.05% at 94.60.
