Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 1.23% or 9.9 points to trade at 816.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Discount (TA:DSCT) added 1.19% or 8.6 points to end at 731.6 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 1.05% or 49 points to 4700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which fell 3.09% or 3040 points to trade at 95330 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 3.00% or 42 points to end at 1359 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was down 2.79% or 158 points to 5495.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 164 to 157 and 129 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.59% or 0.26 to $44.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.09% or 0.04 to hit $48.22 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.13% or 1.40 to trade at $1089.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.03% to 3.9262, while EUR/ILS rose 0.06% to 4.2208.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 99.16.
