Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Utilities and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OSLO:RCLo), which rose 7.40% or 50.0 points to trade at 726.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OSLO:NWC) added 3.86% or 13.1 points to end at 352.4 and Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL) was up 2.10% or 0.67 points to 32.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OSLO:FOE), which fell 8.16% or 3.4 points to trade at 38.0 at the close. DNO International ASA (OSLO:DNO) declined 7.66% or 0.63 points to end at 7.59 and Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) was down 5.74% or 4.5 points to 73.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 104 to 74 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.75% or 0.85 to $47.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.30% or 0.69 to hit $52.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.62% or 6.80 to trade at $1095.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.44% to 8.9769, while USD/NOK fell 0.38% to 8.1436.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.61% at 97.01.
