Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.49% or 16.5 points to trade at 680.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.64% or 21.0 points to end at 1299.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.62% or 7.1 points to 445.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.44% or 1.5 points to trade at 336.5 in late trade. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 0.17% or 0.20 points to end at 115.00 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.11% or 0.4 points to 365.1.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 38 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.41% or 0.74 to $51.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.48% or 0.81 to hit $54.08 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 10.60 to trade at $1283.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.9437, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 99.69.
