Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Eureka Prima Jakarta Tbk (JK:LCGP), which rose 24.71% or 86 points to trade at 434 at the close. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga (JK:AGRO) added 15.19% or 24 points to end at 182 and Danasupra Erapacific Tbk (JK:DEFI) was up 14.75% or 27.00 points to 210.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia (JK:MREI), which lost 10.00% or 625 points to trade at 5625 in late trade. Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) declined 10.00% or 80 points to end at 720 and Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) shed 10.00% or 490 points to 4410.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 174 to 102 and 104 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.67% or 0.81 to $49.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.75% or 0.86 to hit $50.03 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.65% or 8.45 to trade at $1286.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.66% to 13249.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.29% to 9888.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 93.77.
