Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Diversified Financials, Transport and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 15.38% or 1.0 points to trade at 7.3 at the close. Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) added 4.53% or 0.04 points to end at 0.90 and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (OL:RCLo) was up 3.24% or 20.0 points to 637.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 5.24% or 1.10 points to trade at 19.90 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 2.98% or 1.80 points to end at 58.55 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 1.78% or 4.3 points to 237.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 76 and 18 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 5.06% or 1.69 to $31.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 4.15% or 1.44 to hit $33.25 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 1.31% or 15.90 to trade at $1226.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.12% to 9.4769, while USD/NOK rose 0.01% to 8.6019.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 97.46.
