Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Media and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 2.13%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 4.46% or 0.45 points to trade at 10.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 2.00% or 0.60 points to end at 30.65 and Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) was up 1.38% or 0.1 points to 11.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which fell 8.34% or 12.4 points to trade at 136.2 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 4.48% or 1.5 points to end at 34.5 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was down 4.03% or 6.1 points to 145.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 116 to 68 and 6 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.86% or 0.30 to $35.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.58% or 0.21 to hit $37.27 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.56% or 16.40 to trade at $1066.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.4924, while USD/NOK fell 0.18% to 8.7531.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 98.81.
