Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Beverage, Telecoms and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Dari Couspate (CS:DARI), which rose 6.00% or 66 points to trade at 1166 at the close. Meanwhile, Brasseries Du Maroc (CS:SBM) added 5.99% or 132 points to end at 2334 and Alliances (CS:ADI) was up 5.95% or 2 points to 38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were M2M Group (CS:M2M), which fell 5.99% or 13.45 points to trade at 211.05 at the close. CIH (CS:CIH) declined 5.82% or 17.10 points to end at 276.60 and Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) was down 5.60% or 11.35 points to 191.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 18 to 17 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.97% or 0.45 to $46.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.34% or 0.67 to hit $48.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.59% or 6.70 to trade at $1134.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.03% to 10.8220, while USD/MAD fell 0.10% to 9.8171.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.09% at 96.91.
