Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Multi Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 4.99% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 4.91% or 1.90 points to trade at 40.60 at the close. Meanwhile, BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 4.81% or 0.65 points to end at 14.15 and Basic Chemical Industries Co (SE:1210) was up 4.76% or 0.80 points to 17.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which fell 10.88% or 5.85 points to trade at 47.90 at the close. Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) declined 10.70% or 1.30 points to end at 10.85 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) was down 10.65% or 2.30 points to 19.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 157 to 9.

Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) fell to all time lows; down 10.70% or 1.30 to 10.85. Shares in AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) fell to all time lows; falling 10.65% or 2.30 to 19.30.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.99% or 0.89 to $28.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.94% or 0.84 to hit $27.91 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.01% or 11.00 to trade at $1100.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.15% to 4.0964, while USD/SAR rose 0.07% to 3.7528.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 99.11.
